Zong, A china mobile company, became the first company to start giving out branded zong handsets to their customers. Zong started selling out their branded handset for as low as Rs.1500 with discounted call and sms rates for the whole year. Now, Zong has most amazingly introduced their own branded Google Android 2.2 Froyo based mobile phone handset for only Rs.15,999 with free GPRS for 6 months.

Zong Android handset has a 528 MHz Qualcomm Processor, 3.2megapixel camera and Proximity Sensor LCD touchscreen. It is also equipped with GPS which helps you find your location on Google Maps very easily making it possible for you to locate the nearest ATM Machine,Petrol Pump, Restaurant, or whatsoever.

Yes, it has everything you are looking for. For music you have the 3.5mm stereo headset pin. For Internet access, you have free 6 months of GPRS (8mb data transfer per month for 6 months) and the Wi-Fi to access wireless Internet. For more extended memory, you can insert a microSD card too.

One more thing which is so far confusing for me is, some websites which Huawei Ideos description say that the screen is 2.8″ with 256k color and most of them don’t mention the color because a TFT screen with Andriod is usually with 16million colors which is a standard now. So I am not sure whether it has 16mil colors or just 256k screen.
