HTC is becoming the center of attraction for all the smartphone mobile users across the world. Mobilink was the first to introduce HTC HD7 a Windows Phone 7 smartphone and later Ufone introduced the Android based HTC Incredible S. Now the ball is again in the court of Mobilink and its time to launch HTC Sensation, a 1.2Ghz dual core processor Android phone.

Ufone is becoming quite popular these days and as I have already mentioned in my previous few posts that the focus of telecom companies in Pakistan has changed from packages to handsets now. Ufone is planning to launch HTC Flyer quite soon which is a 1.5Ghz processor 7″ Android tablet.

Ufone in collaboration with HTC conducted a bloggers meetup in Marriott Islamabad, on 15th April 2011 to launch HTC Incredible S smartphone mobile handset. Two handsets were given on the spot by Ufone via lucky draw. For the third handset they announced a competition right at the spot which Hamad Dar won after getting most likes on Ufone Android facebook page.

Ufone recently introduced the Android based HTC Incredible S smartphone handset to the postpaid customers. On 15th April 2011, Ufone had a meetup in Marriott Hotel Islamabad where they called Pakistan’s top bloggers to show their HTC Handset and share the benefits of it. The meetup was conducted by Google, Ufone and Brightex (the official distributors of HTC in Pakistan).

The race of smartphone handsets has just started in the cellular companies of Pakistan. Mobilink yesterday launched Samsung Nexus S and today Ufone launched HTC Incredible S in Pakistan. I would rather say, its an Android smartphone race as all these companies are trying to capture the market of Android based handsets. Apple Sues HTC for Patent Infringement CUPERTINO, California—March 2, 2010—Apple® today filed a lawsuit against HTC for infringing on 20 Apple patents related to the iPhone’s user interface, underlying architecture and hardware. The lawsuit was filed concurrently with the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and in U.S. District Court in Delaware.
