Pakistan Telecom Association (PTA) has released a report on all the mobile operators in Pakistan including Mobilink, Ufone, Telenor, WaridTel, CMPak (Zong). In this report PTA conducted a quality of service test on all the networks in different cities of Pakistan and with different aspects. After checking the report, I am still not able to figure out that which mobile service is the best in Pakistan. Ufone is covering the most areas in cities (average score of 98.84%). Whereas, Mobilink ranks on top in voice quality service (average score 2.32). On an overall average that I calculated, Mobilink is the best service in Pakistan with average score of 97.57% in area wise coverage, 97.8% in maintainability and 2.32/3.00 in voice quality. Following is the summary of the report.
Mobilink today introduced Jazz Sim Lagao Offer for all those customers who have not used their mobilink jazz sim for outgoing or incoming calls or sms since November 8th, 2009. On putting their sim back they will be given 50free minutes initially and then 100minutes free will be given for next three months. Maximum of 100 free minutes will be given to the users.
Mobilink is getting back to it’s customers now. The pioneer GSM mobile phone company Mobilink is like a status symbol for people of Pakistan. Whoever is using Mobilink is considered as being a premium mobile user. Recently Mobilink is reshaping their package plans to maintain their reputation in the market. Mobilink introduced voice and sms bundle packages on their postpaid indigo packages.
That is really an amazing gift from Mobilink to the Jazz users. Mobilink turned off the Jazz Daily SMS Bundle Package on 22nd November 2009 once again like two and a half months ago they did the same on Eid. But most amazingly, Mobilink started the service again back today on Eid Day. The Mobilink Jazz Daily SMS Bundle Package link is even back on their website. So enjoy your Eid again by sending 500 sms per day for only 3.99+tax (Rs.4.77) only with Mobilink Jazz.

A friend told me that it is heard that Mobilink is offering Rs.1,000 free credit to all the old customers of Mobilink who ported out of Mobilink’s network. Mobilink will be giving Rs.1,000 free credit, if the customer comes back to the Mobilink network.
Mobilink Jazz Took Off SMS Bundle Package Again on Eid

Two and a half month ago, Mobilink along with Telenor and Ufone stopped all their SMS packages for their customers during the Eid holidays. The reason of taking down these services was to reduce the massive load on their network due to SMS which even disturbs calling facility. Many emergency calls during these Eid vacations were not able to go through because of network being busy due to heavy load of SMS.
