Telenor is becoming one of the favourite telecom mobile service provider company in Pakistan. Few years ago, Telenor was let down by huge numbers after the incident of Denmark when an artist drew the photos of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Telenor clearly indicated at that time, that they are a multi-national company and has nothing to do with Denmark in that aspect.
Telenor finally touched the executive market of Blackberry customers with the new handset, Blackberry Bold 9700 at a nominal rate of Rs.50,000 only. Telenor is currently giving this handset to their Persona Family customers only. Telenor is starting the sale of this handset from February 2010, but the booking is on so that you can get the handset at the start of this February.
Telenor Easy Paisa one of the most unique and great idea introduced by the Telenor Pakistan to pay utility bills and transfer money to friends and family through mobile gain such an importance that CNN took interest in it and made a report on it. Telenor Pakistan is no doubt doing a lot of good things within this country. The best thing I liked about them is that in their every service they are taking care of the people more than them self.
PTA Released QoS Report of All Mobile Operators in Pakistan

Pakistan Telecom Association (PTA) has released a report on all the mobile operators in Pakistan including Mobilink, Ufone, Telenor, WaridTel, CMPak (Zong). In this report PTA conducted a quality of service test on all the networks in different cities of Pakistan and with different aspects. After checking the report, I am still not able to figure out that which mobile service is the best in Pakistan. Ufone is covering the most areas in cities (average score of 98.84%). Whereas, Mobilink ranks on top in voice quality service (average score 2.32). On an overall average that I calculated, Mobilink is the best service in Pakistan with average score of 97.57% in area wise coverage, 97.8% in maintainability and 2.32/3.00 in voice quality. Telenor’s Easy Paisa TV commercial was quite a good one and the song behind the ad was getting quite popular. The song tells the reality of life that life is not that simple, but with the Easy Paisa service, Telenor is helping people to make their life easy to live. Geo TV’s weekly comedy show made a parody of Telenor’s Easy Paisa TV Commercial with all the politicians of Pakistan in it. I am sure whoever will watch this would laugh a lot.
A month back Telenor announced a new unique kind of service named “Easy Paisa” by which anyone (either he/she is a mobile user or not) can pay their utility bills at any Telenor outlet. As promised by Telenor, that they will give more to the people, today started a new service as a part of their Easy Paisa program called “Money Transfer”.
Telenor Pakistan, as always took a new step in giving the people of Pakistan a better service. Telenor Pakistan is launching a new service called “Telenor Easy Paisa” with which not just Telenor customers or Mobile customer but every Pakistani can pay their utility bills on Telenor’s Easy Paisa outlets.
Telenor Pakistan launched their customer web portal today with the name of Telenor Persona Weblounge. With the help of this online weblounge customers can not only buy new connections, they can even use the mobile network portability option and get their connection on the Telenor network. The Telenor Persona customers can pay and view their bills online.
