Today Warid introduced late night and weekend offer called “Postpaid Plus” for the postpaid customers to call their loved ones for just 5 paisa per minute. Now from 12am to 7am talk longer than you ever did with your postpaid Warid connection. Most of the customers who wanted to switch to postpaid packages were being reluctant because of lesser options but now Warid is giving more opportunities.
Warid brings a new unique service for their customers who roam internationally. The power to choose your own cellular operator before you land aboard is the service which is quite interesting. This helps the customer to choose their own SMS and calling plan depending on the cellular company they choose. As soon as you land in any foreign country you will receive an SMS with the SMS and calling tariff plan of the cellular operators working in that country.

After a long time Warid finally got serious in making mind blowing TV commercials and this was the very first TV commercial of WaridTel that I personally adore. Warid Bol Anmol offer TV commercial’s plus point was Mahnoor Balouch in it. If I have to say that Mahnoor Balouch is the most beautiful actress of Pakistan, then I guess everyone will agree with me. This is the second TV Commercial by WaridTel which is extremely amazing and is directed and produced very well for the Warid Sim Jagaoo offer. I like the slow motion capturing of this video. Ogilvy agency did a beautiful job in making this TV Commercial.

WaridTel introduced a similar package like Mobilink and PTCL of discounted International call rates to India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka during the cricket world cup 2011. This type of offer was initially introduced by Mobilink and then was followed by PTCL and now its the time for Warid to give cheap call rates to India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Today WaridTel’s CEO Mr. Bashir Tahir announced publicly in a press release that WaridTel is not for sale. Since many months there was a rumor in the market that WaridTel is going to be sold to any of the existing mobile operator in Pakistan because of its low efficiency. Today the CEO of WaridTel denied this and further added that WaridTel is still looking forward for the expansion of its network throughout Pakistan.
